Booking terms.
What you agree to when you book an oishee visit or pack, in plain English. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you book.

1. Who we are
oishee is a Japanese private chef and meal prep service in London. You can reach us on WhatsApp on +44 7523 819159 or by email at oishee.will@gmail.com.
oishee is run by Oishee Foods Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17234486. Our registered office is The Mill House, Bridges Stone, Worcester, WR6 5HR.
In these terms, "we" and "us" means oishee, and "you" means the person who makes the booking.
2. Your booking
- A booking is a single visit, or a pack of visits, from one of our chefs. The chef cooks in your kitchen or, on the delivered option, in ours, and delivers the food to you the same day.
- Your booking is confirmed once you have paid and we have confirmed your chef, which we do within 24 hours. If we can't find a chef for the time you picked, we will offer you another time or refund you in full.
- The price you see before paying includes the chef's time, their travel and a kitchen left clean. On the hybrid and you-shop options you buy the fresh produce yourself, from a list we send you.
3. Paying
- A single visit is paid in full when you book.
- A pack is paid in full when you buy it, and the price covers all its visits.
- Payments are taken by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- There are no subscriptions and no repeat payments.
4. Packs
- A pack is 4 visits at 5% off or 8 visits at 10% off, for the ingredients option and number of portions you choose when you buy it.
- Buying a pack books its first visit. You book the rest whenever suits you, on the booking page with your pack code and the email you bought it with, as long as a chef is free.
- A pack's visits must be used within 6 months of buying it. Any not booked by then expire.
- You can choose different dishes for every visit.
5. Changing a visit
- You can move a visit, change its time or swap dishes free of charge up to 48 hours before it. Message us on WhatsApp.
- With less than 48 hours to go we will still try, but we can't promise to move it.
6. Cancelling
- A visit: cancel 48 hours or more before it and it goes back into your pack, or for a single visit you get a full refund. With less than 48 hours to go it can't be refunded or returned to your pack, because your chef has kept that time for you and may already have bought your ingredients. Message us to cancel.
- Stopping a pack: tell us and we refund the visits you haven't had. The visits you have had are charged at the full single-visit price instead of the pack price. For example, stopping a 4-visit pack bought for £380 (£95 a visit) after two visits costs two visits at the full £100, so £200, and we refund £180.
7. Your 14-day right to cancel
The law gives you 14 days from the day you book to cancel, for any reason. Tell us on WhatsApp or by email. You don't need to use a particular form.
Visits often happen within those 14 days, so when you book you ask us to start straight away. If you cancel within the 14 days, we refund what you have paid, less the price you paid for any visit that has already happened. For a pack, that is the pack price per visit, not the full single-visit price.
8. If we need to change or cancel
- If your chef can't make a visit, we will tell you as early as we can and either send another chef or move the visit to a time that suits you. If neither works for you, we refund that visit in full.
- If we have to stop providing visits from your pack, we refund every visit you haven't had at the pack price.
9. On the day
- Someone needs to let your chef in at the start of the visit and be there when they leave. You don't need to stay in the kitchen.
- Your chef cooks with your pots, pans and hob. Please make sure they are safe to use, and tell us about anything that doesn't work.
- For a visit in your kitchen, leave out four to six clean containers. On the delivered option we provide them.
- If your chef can't get in at the agreed time, or there is no working kitchen to cook in, the visit is treated as a cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice.
10. Food, allergies and storage
- Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you book. We will adapt dishes where we safely can, but food is cooked in your kitchen, which may handle other allergens, so we can't guarantee any dish is free from traces.
- Most of our dishes contain soya and gluten. Each dish page lists its allergens.
- Allergy and dietary information is health data. We only keep it with your permission, share it only with the chef cooking for you, and use it only to cook for you safely. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.
- Once your food is in the fridge, keeping and reheating it safely is up to you. Follow the storage and reheating guidance we give for each dish.
11. If something goes wrong
- Our chefs cook with reasonable care and skill. If a visit falls short, tell us as soon as you can, ideally within 48 hours, and we will put it right, either by cooking again or by refunding that visit.
- If anything in your home is damaged during a visit, tell us straight away.
- Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.
12. Referrals
- After your first paid booking you get a personal referral code, shown on your confirmation and on Manage booking.
- A friend who enters your code when they pay gets £20 off their first booking, a single visit or a pack. It only applies to an email address that hasn't paid for a booking before, once per person.
- Once that friend's booking is paid and their first visit has happened, you earn £20 of credit. Use it by entering your own code when you pay for a booking: £20 off each booking, as long as you have credit.
- Referral discounts and credit have no cash value and can't be exchanged or transferred. We may withdraw a discount or credit that was obtained unfairly, for example by referring yourself.
13. Complaints and the law
If you are unhappy with anything, contact us first and a real person will reply, usually the same day. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
